Shopping Downtown Collingwood offers a variety of quaint boutiques with unique giftware and trendy shops in a restored heritage district that is a must to visit. As soon as the snow flies, the hills of Blue Mountain turn from green and dark blue to snowy white and the town is alive with visitors from all over the world who come to experience the joys of skiing, winter hiking, snowshoeing, ice fishing and snowmobile riding. Winter in Collingwood begins with Downtown Collingwood transformed into a Victorian street scene of yesteryear complete with costumed carollers and every store window decorated with scenes of Christmas past.
