Hurontario Street, known as Main Street by locals, is intersected by County Road 124 and Hwy 26; Highway 400 is 40 minutes away on Hwy 26 E and connects with Highway 401 at Toronto.

Penetang-Midland Coach Lines Ltd. has a depot in Downtown Collingwood and offers daily trips to Pearson International Airport and Metropolitan Toronto. Local transporation is provided by Call-Trans, running Mondays through Saturdays.
